So when we went to Wellington, New Zealand, to catch up with some fam we had dinner at The Bresolin.
The Bresolin is a bar slash restaurant. The reception is a small indoor bar area and connected to it is an outside glass kind of place next to many heaters and a massive fire place. Don't worry. It's not cold, you just have to open the doors to the balcony to go outside.
It is located next to a busy road but the music drones most of it out.
There was about 10 of us so we just ordered the Angus Rib Eye and Whole Lamb Shoulder feasts to share with some vegetables. (You have to pay for the vegetables separately)
Angus Rib Eye
Ah mazing. Chewy but not too chewy and juicy. Cooked to rare. Soooo delicious!
Whole Lamb Shoulder
It fell straight off the bone and went soooo well with the mint sauce!
Braised Briskit Beef
Crumbed with very moderate spices and was really tasty and chewy. I had about 5 peices!😂
Roast Broccoli, Betroot and Hummus
A thick layer of hummus was spread out across the plate with the broccoli and Betroot placed in massive amounts on top. Was sooo delicious. I have never loved broccoli so much in my life.
At first I was abit concerned about the caramelised part but once I tried it. Wow. The cauliflower with spinach leaves were delicious and sweet but not to the point where it was disgustingly sweet. Coming from some one who hates cauliflower.
Minus drinks the overall price was $243 NZD. So that was $24.5 for each person as there was ten of us.
So in the end I did enjoy the service and food but... The price and location (next to the motorway) was unpleasant so I am rating them ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.
